Curtains

Wave & pleat. The detail that sets the tone.

S-fold, pinch pleat and pencil pleat headings — the choice that decides whether a curtain reads contemporary, classic or traditional.

The heading does the talking

Two curtains in identical fabric can look entirely different depending on the heading. S-fold gives clean continuous waves for contemporary interiors; pinch pleat gives structured, tailored fullness; pencil pleat gives dense gathered softness for classic rooms.

The heading also decides how the curtain stacks, how much wall it needs when open, and how the fabric falls — so it is specified alongside the track, not after it.

Common questions

Wave and Pleat Curtains —
frequently asked

S-fold (wave) for contemporary homes, particularly on sheers and full-height windows. Pinch pleat remains the choice for a more tailored, classic result.
Yes — hand-finished pinch pleats take more labour and fabric than S-fold or pencil pleat. We price each option at quote.
You can, though we usually recommend keeping one heading through connected spaces for a consistent look.
Pinch and pencil pleat suit rods well. S-fold generally requires a track system to hold the wave correctly.
